Yi Wang

AIA

Architect

Born in Shanghai, China, Yi witnessed the rapid urban growth and architectural inventions as she grew up. Later she earned a double degree in Architecture and Business Administration at UNLV. Her research remains focused on urbanism and its relationship to individuals.

Practicing in Oregon, California and Nevada, Yi continues to grow her sustainability awareness, especially in the areas of biophilic design and healthy materials.

She was involved in many different project types, from public and private projects to retail, from urban planning to interior design. She participates actively and reflectively in architecture school jury and local art and education volunteer programs.

She draws her design inspirations from a place’s history, people, and urban formation. She is devoted to creating spaces that inform the history, yet gives potential for its organic future growth.
