Associate | Architect

Marissa joined Hacker after completing her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. She has focused her professional passion on public spaces and library design.

Marissa enjoys contributing to projects that require engagement with stakeholder and community groups and understands designing buildings in a way that is both sustainable and considerate of their respective communities is a fundamental responsibility of all architects. She thinks through details at all scales of project design and documentation, is conscious of maintaining a landscape's identity through responsibly sourced materials, and finds inspiration from people who steward and care for the land.
