Client Notes
Assess Josephine County's current library branches and help define the library's place in this community. Provide inspiring conceptual design and cost data to assist library leaders with a capital campaign. Produce an in-depth action plan and outline achievable next steps for design and construction phases.
Designer Notes
We explored the viability of improving or replacing the existing libraries based on facility assessments and community needs. Each of the proposed designs is founded in accessibility and aims to welcome the community. By using wood and/or brick - both local materials - the designs integrate into their context and embody the area's historic lumber and forestry industry.
