Client Notes
Renovation and expansion of a cramped, outdated law school building to increase accessibility, expand student services, provide flexible breakout and collaboration spaces, and update building systems and technology to support, inspire, and recruit 21st century law students from all backgrounds.
Designer Notes
The refreshed, expanded King Hall aims to reflect the spirit and aspirations of a modern, world-class law school. The new wing forms a courtyard with outdoor seating and gathering space, and it provides fresh, welcoming front door. Mock courtrooms, seminar classrooms, and offices support specialized teaching and learning, and the light-filled building includes a wide variety spaces for meetings, study, and socializing outside of the classroom.
